I'm concerned about the final release schedule

Networking has definitely improved for SB1.00 to 1.03 compared to PB - I would regularly wait 5-10 minutes to drop from SC to normal space near a station, but not once have I had a wait of more than 30secs. I have also yet to have a CTD, which I did on PB on a few occasions.

Looking at the ctrl-b counters (which I do as standard practise) there is also a visible and measurable drop in the amount of network traffic compared to PB.

I think the networking has improved for people with good broadband lines with the improvement in the player matching and netcode improvements.

Some people may not have seen an improvement as their broadband is only ok enough to run elite and no matter how many improvements are made their line is the limiting factor.

I'm not concerned about the release schedule. Still think they can make it 2014.

What i want to point out is that while there are a lot of features (and ships etc) missing, there isn't THAT much missing. There are not a lot of big features missing, and one of them being Mining (goes hand in hand with Sensors). Latest Newsletter gave us big hint that it is developing nice and my guess Beta 2 is where we will see it.

It's only first days of August.

I'd say with almost any other production company their time line is way off, but Frontier are so cautious about committing to any kind of time frame that when do, they must be extremely confident of meeting it.
