Ships Federal Corvette I'm currently doing a PvP build, need weapons against shield tanks, any ideas?

So here's my current build: https://s.orbis.zone/7m1j
if anyone could help me out with giving a few tips against shield tanks, then thanks
every helping comment is appreciated 🙃

A silent running Corvette is an interesting choice for PvP. I've never tried it but the prevalence of hitscan weapons and night vision coupled with the corvettes huge hit profile and low speed seems like a bad choice. I'm genuinely curious how it plays out. Good luck CMDR.

Now for the feedback you asked for. As much as I love Pacifier frags, I'd dump them for Huge/Large plasma cannons. The absolute damage helps all around plus the effective range is much higher. The preferred engagement distance of the Pacifiers is around 1km. The small frags you have is much shorter due to the ridiculous Jitter.

To be effective you have to be close with frag cannons. Unfortunately, the closer you get to someone the more the advantage of SR is negated. Less than 500 meters and you are getting into the auto resolve range for sensors. Plasma's in your huge and large slots and rails in your mediums and smalls is a decent place to start.

The large hardpoint placement on the corvette is trash so alternatively a large reverb torpedo and 2 small reverb torpedoes will take out just about any shield generator if they all hit. 2 medium rails and 2 huge plasma's will make short work of anyone that isn't hull tanking afterward.

See starman's advice for the particulars.

You'll get powerplant pinged from rails, even with all that MRP action. Against a shield tank (especially a medium like an FdL) you will be vulnerable from the first second of the fight- you are a massive target (as pointed out above), all your external modules can be damaged easily (so kiss goodbye to weapons).

In PvE hull tank Corvettes are interesting, but for PvP against a competent opponent IMO you'd come off worse.

I've heard phasing can be a nice surprise for people who rely on being shield tanks.

With phasing its all or nothing. Bleed damage is low so all your weapons need to have it ideally. If the OP goes for PA though every hit will need to register though, because they'll be taking PP damage almost instantly. It might be better to go armoured G5 and then double braced or monstered.

Reverberating Cascade
Experimental munitions that overload shields on impact, directly damaging the shield generator.

Isn't that you want? 2 hits = no shield. Any shield...shield generator dead.

That doesn't look like an awful lot more hull than I have on my PvE build. If anything, you're wasting potential with two size-5 MRPs - MRPs deplete in slot order, so you'd be better off with one 5D GMRP and two regular D-grade MRPs in your C1 and C3 slots, freeing up one of your C7s for another HRP. Any reason for the guardian HRP, or is that a misclick?

As for weapons, well, you're hulltanking and running a ton of heat sinks. You know what that screams to me?

Anti shiled is mostly for smaller and stealth ships, not for vette. As most of those weapons are area damage and easily friendly fire.
For bleeding effect, go for a gunship with full rapid + bleeding pulse.
For shield generator damage, go for a mine layer DBX or gunship with a mixed ion disruptor / reverbrating mines.
For shiled booster attack, use Hammer RG, tripple shot will greatly impact shield regeneration.
Reverbrating torps are good for 1 on 1, that's the right thing mounted on large ships, but more often on a trading cutter vs. NPC, only for fun.
In PVP you have very limited torp ammo, if you are not playing in a wing for a specific shield breaker role, torps will be used up very soon and nobody can cover u.
