Well, this time it's for good.

Thank you for being part of my pew pew content for the last 5 years. I had a great time destroying many internet pixel spaceships. Unfortunately, I don't find any joy playing this game anymore. It's crystal clear to me the developers have no interested to improve piracy and PVP beyond applying small fixes every 6 or 9 months.

Elite development seems to be hitting a wall at this point, the road map is unclear and it doesn't feel like the development of the game is doing well. The community announcement is a puzzle of questions for the better future of this game. It's like setting sail in a ship and hoping you will run ashore in Japan. No compass, no maps, no knowledge of the sky.

Issues that have been in the game for years are still not being addressed or fixed, and the community feedback is non-existent at this point. It's pretty obvious the developers have zero interest to engage in a discussion about the serious flaws of the game and combat logging is still not being addressed even though it was a major focus point last year.

There are better space games coming out and I think Elite has missed the goal by a long shot to make the game a much more compiling and meaningful sandbox experience. All the recent updates are pointing to a more linear and event based story driven by the decisions of the developers which is quite honestly the whole opposite of what a sandbox experience should be like. On top of that the BGS is a complete mess and powerplay has been dead meat ever since it's release.

Special thanks to SDC for providing the best content in this game in 2015-2016. Shout out to CMDR Itchynipples for making this game a better place. Special thanks to Mobius players for dying a lot and special thanks to the moderation team for banning me over 50 times, you guys rock.

Fly safe CMDRS,
