I'm getting a bit worried about Frontier. :(

I don't want Frontier to become like EA or other crummy publishers/developers.

Their probably behind what with covid, some working from home still idk. Also odyssey. Their flat out on that too.
Your Turn will come no doubt....I hope

I'm fairly certain that Frontier have previously mentioned that the lack of activity on the PC version is mostly due to the team being focused on the console edition...and yes, even in the midst of a pandemic, they'd want to remain on schedule in order for the game to be released on time. I'm sure attention will return to PC once console is out of the way.

Or not, they could also have been working on planco 2 since Ghostbusters came out or even before as the 5 year leak, which has turned out mostly true suggests, with a possible announcement early next year or in 2 years and a release in November either in 2021 or 2022, if the leak is correct even with disney parks licenses. ;)
Would even prefer that to a new DLC, no matter how long development takes,a new or improved engine and a disney license could allow for a lot more than planco 1 can do
I've actually made a very long list of wishes, that I might post on the forums one day.

I'm also fine if they are working on PC2, I just hope this time they take the time to come up with a bit more complete game.

PC has some glaring gaps with missing bits and pieces from themes, mis-scaled items and wonky design choices (like required curbs on raised paths...), all while also having some truly gorgeous artwork, graphics, and gameplay. In some ways it always seemed to me that much of PC was thoughtfully and carefully designed, and then a bunch of lesser well done items perhaps rushed to pad out the offerings at the last minute. I'd much rather wait and have a full, well rounded game with all it's designs to the same high standards we KNOW they are capable of.

I personally don't have much in the way of expectations for more content for PC, unless it's a catch-all DLC release to clear out some finished models that have been completed but just sitting in the pipeline, which would be more than welcome. We've seen glimpses of different designs that never made it to release...

Yeah, this is a 4 yr old game, I get if they don't want to keep it going...I just want stability. With over 2000hrs in-game, I have had a great time with it. I just want the files updated and stable, so I can keep playing till the PC2 comes out. There are quite a few of us on steam with crash issues. They have my loyalty as I have bought ED, Planzoo, and Planco...and all DLC content. I don't even play ED or Plazoo, I just want to keep them going. PLEASE UPDATE THE PC FILES...

I'm not so concerned about themes, but instead, I would like general things fixed or updated. Such as, Is there anything in the console version that could be improved in the pc version? Is there anything from Planet Zoo to improve PC?

I would think some optimization that they used in console version will be done to PC version, once the console version will be released. As for things from PZ to PC, yea probably not, they said things like weather etc. are not possible in PC because it uses older version of the Cobra engine.

There was already an optimisation update for the PC version based on the console work. So there may not be another because we may have already got it.

Yep, 1.13 last November included optimizations from the console work:

Today we are releasing Update 1.13 - a Quality of Life update with fixes that we've been working on during the development of Planet Coaster: Console Edition, as well as some issues that have been raised by the Community.

I'm sure the devs have made a lot more progress in terms of performance best practices and hopefully some of that goodness will find its way back to the PC version.

Oh. Thanks for correcting me then. Any of you Coster veterans can tell if the performance update helped bigger parks? I am curious if Planet Zoo could potentionaly be updated if Frontier decide make Console version and if it would help with performance in bigger parks.

I can definitely confirm that it helps with bigger Parks. Of course, if your PC is a Potato you might not get as much from it.

That is good to hear. I have a good PC, above recoomended specs, but still once the park gets bigger the lagg is quite noticeble and makes me not want to play. I can only hope PZ will get this treatment then. Thanks for info!

So you are saying that a 9700K is slow???....nothing but crashes. I'm not the only one with this problem. If an i7 9700K, gtx 1660ti, 16g of ram can't run this game without crashing....THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE GAME!!!!!

Is your CPU overclocked?
That's probably the issue.

I have a far less impressive system (i5-6500/GT1050ti/8GB DDR4 RAM), and no crashes.
