I'm gonna find God and no one can stop me!

So you may call me Sybok, because i plan to travel to the center of the galaxy.
Since it seems to be quite a long ride to get there, i'm obviously in need of the highest jump-capability.
Therefore i would be glad for any recommendations regarding eligible ships and/or configurations.
Also feel free to suggest what could possible be there for me to discover.:D

You could watch YouTube and see what's there already.

Also, several systems towards the centre are bugged and you can't get out without having your progress reset, so I'd advise waiting for now if you still want to see it for yourself.

Well I know Sagittarius A* (the gigantoid black hole that everything in the Milky Way orbits) is at the center of our Galaxy, I would suggest the Asp as it is the best dedicated explorer ship in the game.

I'm currently saving credits for an Asp by playing with my Cobra, hopefully i can start my journey to the center soon. See you there :D

Edit: Go into the Nav. Screen and search "Sagittarius" without the quotes and it'll take you to the center and you can see the black hole. It's full of stars!

IIRC there has been at least one CMDR that has made the journey and created a thread with pics. Try searching for Sgr A or checking out the Explorers threads. Can't comment on finding God though, but good luck with that.

Sorry, Elite: Dangerous is scientifically accurate, there is no God :D
Perhaps science just hasn't found him/her yet. Let's be fair, science has only recently worked out how bees fly and that stomach ulcers can be cured with antibiotics.

To quote a great man

Stephen Hawking said:
"What I have done is to show that it is possible for the way the universe began to be determined by the laws of science. In that case, it would not be necessary to appeal to God to decide how the universe began. This doesn't prove that there is no God, only that God is not necessary."

That's still 2 more things than religion has worked out though to be fair :)

I think there is a giant Braben head in the center somewhere though.

Thanks for the Info. I will definitely check for said thread.

Thanks a lot. I was considering to get an Asp too. But if it's still bugged, like tristancliffe mentioned (Thanks tristan) it could be wise to wait for related patches. In the meantime, maybe one could get "another" Anaconda and strip her down of her mass as far as possible to get even further. Just wondering.

I've been after the tooth fairy for years. 14 teeth, and 20 years later and she's still one step ahead of me.
My Sides just passed Lagrange Point 2. Thank you for making my day. :D

Ahahaha! A giant disembodied Braben-head in place of a star and when you come out of hyperspace and zoom towards him, he winks at you! :D

That's just about the silliest thing I've ever imagined, and believe me I've imagined some very silly things...

:)
