I'm in Beta at Ward

Flying a Corvette with beams and rail guns 10k out from the Gareth station. Anyone want to play? Not all that good with a Corvette but have a ton of rebuys.

20 minutes later no joy. Saw a Chieftain leave the station. Another one with cannons who knows that they are doing.

Where are all the Beta Griefers? Can't find one when you want one. Maybe a maxed out Chieftain vrs old school engineered Corvette would be a better test.

Another Chieftain ran away. An AspX shows up. I say, "Hi!". They immediately jump. Is this what Open is all about? Maybe he didn't like my weapons deployed.

Ward system. Gareth Edwards Park orbital station, 862 LS from the arrival sun. There are two. The Black Hole station on Ward A 2 is where everyone is testing the engineer upgrades in Beta.

Another 40 minutes with no challengers. Maybe I should dock the Corvette and fly the Fer de Lance with simple beams and multi-cannons.

I got interdicted by a Chieftain while in my Cutter. It ended very well.

OK, nothing going on here. Got an incoming mission to collect a cargo canister. Later...Ah so Thargoids are here. My rail gun Corvette took them out. Never put a dent in the shields but their corrosive weapons got past the shields so a quick run to the nearest orbiting station for repairs.

Some moderator should close this thread. It was a one time live moment with no one showing up. Sort of like an Ed Lewis live stream but without the stream. Won't happen again.

Maybe a Corvette isn't the best choice when you're looking for a 1v1. Big ships are not useful for duels thus usually left alone. Get into a Chieftain, FdL or something simlar and I'm sure you'll find someone to play with.
