I'm in love again!

I had the Vulture before and it was the first ship that clicked for me. I remember she maneuvered very well. So I recently had some cash and spare parts (engineered) lying around so I bought one again... With DD5 drives and Grade 5 long range FSD she really comes alive! What an absolute blast to fly!

USed to love mine, kitted out with Hull reenforcements and such like.

With Engineers i've considered goign back and Engineering a vulture to go Combat.

Maybe help escort players, etc...

I never liked it, in fact it's the only ship I've sold. Since 95% of the people think it's a great ship I'm probably wrong, but for whatever reason I never could get used to it.

Anyway, enjoy it!

I don't like it either. It's too squared, like it's made out of card boxes or something.

smack on some DDT5 and it becomes the king of dogfights.

run mine with a rapid fire APA and a thermalvent beam, no more overheating :D

I don't think your wrong.
In a combat career, for me, the Vulture is a necessary, though unloved, steppingstone to the next available ship.
My main issue with it (even A-rated everything though not Engineered) is its speed - gosh it feels awful slow.
And in combat, as with most things ED, I like to get out of trouble as fast as I got into it.
For a combat ship, especially one as small as this one, you gotta have speed IMHO.

I love my vulture! I always return to it. 2 large weapons! Its good for any situation.

I am still trying to find the correct config for it though.

I fly three ships. ASP for mining, DBX for exploration, and the Vulture for fighting.
I used an eagle for the first few days to make creds. The vulture is the eagles big bro.
The vulture is a tad slower, and is a tad less maneuverable, other than that the Vulture has more of everything
and 2 biggins compared to 3 small mounts. I use 2 large multiguns, I like the sparks they make :)

A lot of people have one ship they hate. For me it's the FDL, sold mine. I know it's the king on paper but I just hated it.

With Engineers, I could not recommend it more. The shiip becomes a beautiful superiority fighter that just dominates in speed and manuverability with more than enough survivability to laugh at its opposition.

There are days I swear it feels more like a medium ship than a small because of it...
