I'm Loving This

Well I downloaded the update and I can honestly say, I love it - although I guess I'm a bit biased and I've not really delved deep into it yet.

As I was near Leesti, I thought I'd jump in (liking the new hyperspace) and on arriving, noticed something new (I won't spoil it for anyone else) but let's just say... lots of tourists.

Anyhow, I'm at George Lucas and blown away by the new interior to the station. I'm a happy fella. Enjoy guys, I know I will/I am.

I got to play a few hours this morning and I'm really happy. All of the improvements I've come across are immersive and fun. However the best part for me is the adjustments made to the game aren't a compulsion for me.

The engineer update was a push to unlock and mod my ships and I often felt compelled to play rather than just enjoying the experience. My favorite part was turning off ED and simply not having that same weight I felt from the last major update. I just had fun, plain and simple.

Got to agree. Been on for the past few hours - mostly just trying out the ship launched fighters, a couple of passenger missions and in between playing with the HMD graphics settings. Overall, I am really liking this update and I've only just scratched the surface.

So far I am enjoying 2.2 very much.

Love the fighter and crew mechanic.
I hope we will be able to have more types of npc crew soon.

Should I cash out the FAS and go find a Gunship for the SLF? Or should I just play with the Keelback for a while. I've already killed my first crew member (oops). LoL Love that F63 with the gimbals.

The passenger missions look like a lot of fun and lucrative. I'll be pulling those cargo bays out of the Clipper and replacing with passenger cabins.
