I'm Moving On, Now.

To a new home system. :)

My old system is so maxed out on my Allied status, that they no longer give out missions worth a rebuy. I can collect materials myself. Except for that (redacted) Specialized Legacy Firmware.

So, I'm moving back to Discount Space. Immediately got better missions and treatment. Might even get that elusive Sirius permit.

Additionally, I was wrong about the Python. My first build was distorted due to my explorer's worldview. The Python needs A class thrusters. That made flying it a whole lot better. It is now the CG ship.

Sadly, Edsel the Cobra 4 had to go, along with Seymour the Adder. Needed the rebuy cash.

The small Turret Cannons that The Blaster modifies have turned out to be much more interesting than I had thought. Put 2 on a Sidewinder, and they can make life *very* interesting.

Turret Railguns, please?

Actual NPC Quote to me, today: "I'm not saying you are better than me, but I have to be elsewhere, now". He got away with about 10% hull.

So much for the "dumb"/pushover NPC's of yore. SJA is making them *much* smarter about picking fights, and working in teams of at least two against me. I now kill the trailer, when the lead jumps out. How long will it be before the forum demands that the NPC's be banned for combat logging? :)

My Python has a do-everything build, with mostly cargo and an SRV for cargo and surface missions. But it does have a sting in the tail with three large pulse turrets, two cannon and engineered 5A shields.
I was interdicted by an Elite Asp Explorer last night. He didn't last long.
The Python is loved the galaxy over, and for good reason

Good luck in your new home, never easy moving on. Also the Python is a great ship, plenty of cargo space and plenty of weapons.

Welcome to the Python club. :)

She's an excellent ship, great at everything.

If you have access to Palin, sticking Dirty Drives 5 on it will turn that sluggish Python in to something that can keep up with an FDL. :D

Mine can also top 450m/s.

Fly safe!

That depends if cargo capacity is important and also if large landing pads are available. If both of these are true then, for me, the Cutter is the CG ship. :)

Sorry, Robert, I have to keep people busy *somehow* other than complaining... :)

Nice shot.

6A shields. NPC's have a standing KOS from MoM/SJA on me. :(

I have not ground for Quent or Palin, so Level 2 drives, 390/303 are what I have for now. Have to operate often from 2G+ surface bases now.

Note: 5A jump drives with a 50% increase. 29 light-years. Soooo many Chemical Manipulators and Datamined Wake's. :( Runs pretty cool as well. Pulse lasers all around, all maxed Efficient Weapon (heat/power). My job is to run, jump out-system, not fight. The 6A sheilds are maxed re-inforced from Trader's rest. All have resistance augmented boosters, maxed. Point defense. Max armor, with 50+% weight reduction from Selene Jean. She's worth the pain-ite.

No, I'm not paranoid. :)
