INARA.cz (lots of info to hand plus searching for various stuff)

Don't worry - everyone finds this game hard to learn. I've been playing for 4(?) years now, and just 15 minutes ago learned something new about the possiblities of one of the third party sites (EDSM, if you want to know). If you have just started, you're probably still in the newbie zone, and that one is on purpose restricted with the ships and equipment which is available.
As @Ashnak says this is a deep game so don't take 'a slow start' to heart. Everyone experiences that same learning curve so use the forums. Simple trading and courier missions will make money for you in the starter zones and give you a feel of the basics. The combat missions aren't well explained so you might be back here. Enjoy.
