This thread is not about lack of sand in the sandbox, it's about pushing the limits and sharing ideas.
Maybe the FDEV will sneak peak here, and hopefully get some inspiration, so lets leave the "no content discussion" in other threads, please.
Lets us move fast forward to when we can expect to actually see some wild life.
It's a huge undertaking to design and actually create all this, so we will get the diversity needed. This is truly a task to be considered by the graphic team working on ED.
What goes into designing a believable planet. Desert planets can support life, the challenge would be to establish the ecosystem in a believable way.
Fauna and wild life are even on earth unknown in some areas, we still discover new species and plants this very day.
So when we go down there, it is not going to be all sugar and candy down there, I imagine that the rover we can bring would be first step, however we also need some robots. Is that a Anaconda landed ready to explored this new planet?
Sometimes you could find a very strange environment.

Mixing the sci-fi worlds lead to interesting stories.
