The developers clearly don't like any criticism. But I can at least warn people in every social media opportunity I can not to waste their money on this game.

There is critisism..... and then there is swearing ranty insult filled posts. We get both on the forums.

Let me guess.....

Constructive and well-reasoned criticism vs the destructuve non-reasoning criticism. Want to give us an idea about what you presented as criticism and how you presented it?

I hope when you do go onto social media, you can actually give some articulated explaination and context into what you are talking about.

So OP's four months in the forums - complains about real players and says they should not be there - then complains about AI and says it should only be real players - rage quit

.... Hmm

Ship Transfer - hotly discussed and put to the poll - implemented as 70% of the community voted
Neutron Star Jump boost - implemented, nerfed, listened to the community, changed value, continued to consider arguments, came up with a pretty good solution and compromise which is to be tested
Heat Meta - Actively taking part in discussions and bouncing ideas around with the community and reevaluating fixes and nerfs based on input and discussions.

Just because they don't respond instantly or do not implement something the way you want it does not mean they cannot accept critisism. Right now they are showing that yes, they do listen, they take input seriously and they take their time to think things through properly.

So relax or please go stomp off somewhere else and throw your toys around there. (EVE maybe?) :)

I do love a well thought out, informative and constructive post ;)

if anything the Devs are now very receptive to feedback from the playerbase imo. Whether this is a good thing considering I backed a what I thought was a niche game aimed at a specific audience and is now being sold to a very different demographic............. I would say a double edged sword

I guess, social media has just been invented for you doing this.

Damn I forgot my mind reading aparatus at home and this computer cannot read so much between the lines, maybe will be much helpful if you would share with us exactly what happened? Who knows what you can learn from it :) Sometimes I understand all this rage as I badly want as many others some things implemented or fixed....

Maybe he is referring to other stuff and not 2.2 beta? If he is going in EVE he will get stomped pretty harsh as there is much harder environment :) Tho the devs there actually hear and have constructive and explaining why they can or cannot do any of the ideas, at least they where doing that some years ago when I stopped playing :p

Hey Scubadog, if you think this will change that Elite Dangerous is the best commercial VR game on the market and for me the best space game i played for years, go ahead.

I just find it funny that people blame the game because they not able to play it right.

Ah, there's the problem. You shouldn't have wasted your money on this game, you should have used it well on this game, as many others have done. ;)

Why?

Seriously though, you do need to expand. Developer have recently changed tons of things in response to player feedback so you are either know something we don't, are misinformed or just downright incorrect.

Also - 20,000 Credits the OP never returns here. Any takers?

I'm just trying to figure out who the OP is (or thinks he is) and why we should be afraid of any social media rants by him...or who would actually read any of them.

Bye OP (no tears). ... Criticism which have value (constructive) is always welcomed by game developers. It is however not real, that even the most "great" criticism will lead immediatelly to changes, but developers can use it for further game development (applied especially for games like ED is). Next to this there is a fact that not everyone may/will like gameplay in a game like ED is, this is natural. Everyone who do not have fun, while play ED, can go and play something else, or take break etc. But if I want put negative criticism to something, I should have some deeper knowledge about the game and formulate clearly my views. ... Coming here with announcement that "critics here is not welcomed" is quite funny considering this forum "hot" threads content.
