I'm over it...

Well, I jumped on the SF train when it launched, just to see what all the hype was about. I've played about 8 hours or so, and it's actually starting to get a bit boring. I am so used to ED that all the hand holding and programmed quests are beginning to bug me! That, and all of those people you have to talk to! I don't like talking to people IRL, so why would I want to do it in a game? In my book, single player should be single player...

Now, where did I leave my Fleet Carrier? Oh, there it is. I've got Engineers to unlock...

I was almost to that point as well (except that I won't ever have a fleet barge), and then the starborn showed up. While I still don't like all the boring npc conversations, I'm still playing. 40+ hours and counting.

I never buy their games until they hit the bargain bin. Just not worth full price to me. There's usually enough mods to make it worthwhile by the time they're on sale.

I am currently taking a break from ED to complete another game's expedition on two different saves. The first took a week due to a serious bug (it's still broken). The second save should take a couple days.

I'm looking forward to returning to ED in a few days. I've still got some work to do before I'm ready to take both my commanders back to Colonia. This time, I've got a carrier. :)
