General / Off-Topic I'm proper angry now...

Actually it's called Toblerone in Germany :p (I think it's called Toblerone anywhere, at least I haven't seen another name anywhere :D)

awww, I was hoping they'd have regional versions. I've jokingly called them Tobler One's for years. Mainly to annoy my friends.

However if anyone messes with the British Pint..........

It's similar to a UK, missing Scotland and Northern Ireland because of the Brexit. Therefore it is definitely a political issue.

Well, since they got taken over by Mondelez International (a US company) they have changed the recipe so they are cheaper, and laden with sugar (explains the typical Yank waistline). I have stopped buying Cadbury products.

We have the yanks to thank fer that...used to be a favorite...now its just cheap sugar laden rubbish cos thats what they like and assumed we would like it too...they were wrong.

Cadburys creme egg, how do you eat yours? That used to be a national institution on its own...now its just cheap advertising after they americanised it.

Luckily we have the Magna Carter to protect us here:

Clause 35:“Let there be throughout our kingdom a single measure for wine and a single measure for ale and a single measure for corn, namely ‘the London quarter’ “

Mind you, it also has a lot about concentrating power in the hands of baronial landowners and who can take twigs from forests, but Clause 35 is sacrosanct.

Erm, no it's not....

Among other beer measures, BrewDog took HMRC to task and won regarding the use of 1/3rd and 2/3rd pint measures for the sale of beer.

Well, no more sales for them then. Pretend American Beer makers that they are. Pah!
