I'm really happy with Elite but I basically do the same stuff all the time and have been for years!

Me:
Combat
Mat hunting to support Combat
Engineering
Mat's hunting to support Engineering
CG's - Combat
Trading to earn mat's as above.

Rinse and repeat.

I did one of the Guardian things to get the FSD booster and way back when I earned Prismatics but apart from that....

Anyway I need a bucket list of some things to do because I have literally zero imagination or actual time to scour the net for what ED has to offer. I know it has LOADS more but I'm just too comfortable in my "bubble".

I forgot to add in OP I've been to Beagle, SagA* (twice) and Colonia for an extended stay.
I did high and low also!!

did you get into anti-thargoid combat yet? as far as i know, a medusa provides good challenge.

did you fight in USS threat 6-7 pirate activity?

did you break into a space installation with recon limpets?

did you actually broke into a high security planetary installation?

did you pirate military convoys or private courier vessels?

most of the challenging gameplay is sandbox, and not guided gameplay by missions.

another thing - did you back a minor faction, get them into control of a station and system, and help them to expand?

I'm currently engineering my third alt. The aim is to have her sit in a turret beams (2 of which are regeneration for quick heals) Anaconda with an SLF to act as turret base while I pull in victims with my main commander's Corvette and SLF.

I already tried it out in a plain A rated Anaconda and it works well. Dual boxing is easier than I thought it would be.

Here's my suggestion:

fit a nice exploration ship that you feel comfortable with and take yourself into this route:
Colonia -> SagA* -> Beagle Point -> Bubble

But dont rush it, enjoy the trip.

You'll get Elite in exploration and get to know a big (maybe the main) feature of the game.

Spoiler: There's a lot of stuff yet to be discovered!

Guardian Fighter unlock? Just for the visuals and sound.
AX Combat - but you will need to unlock more than one weapon. Takes time to learn and you end up building multiple ships to see which one works best.
