I'm selling this ship ASAP

I sold mine because my fun in the game doesn't center around grinding boring routes for Cr to get a bigger ship. I'll eventually get to the anaconda, but not by trading with a boxcar with a butane torch strapped to it. It's not fun and the risk of losing everything including your cargo is too great, especially now that all these bugs are present. I think if I had the new DC I would have kept her though, taking 10 minutes to reach the slot is pathetic, not interested in doing that again, but if I could walk away from it and do other things while she docked, that's different.

The most it's ever taken me to dock is less than 2 minutes, but that was my first time & I was being careful at the mailslot.

I lasted about two hours trading in my T9. Quickly traded it in on an Anaconda and have never looked back. The T9 is a beast but also the slowest beast in the game.

A DC is probably smart to start with - at least until you get comfortable with the controls. But I didn't start enjoying the T9 until I got rid of it. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it is to dock. Really. And I never had more than C-grade thrusters. Nothing has that big space trucking feel like a T9. I have an Anaconda trader now only because it's more versatile and easier to protect but I still think of jumping in the cockpit of one.

Now in contrast, I never liked the T7 and some love it. It's great to have distinct choices.

What's the DC? I liked the Type 7 until a few weeks ago. I had been in it for the longest of any other ship & just got bored with it.

Got the Type 9 this morning & it's definitely the worst ship in the game. I knew it would be slow to maneuver but this is ridiculous. I can't even tell you how many times I got forced out of SC because I couldn't move away from the star in time after jumping, even when throttling down. I'm going back to my Python. I can't handle having a ship that's trying to kill me on every jump.

You should have seen it in earl Beta. People used to make videos on how to fly it! It's pure bliss these days.

There might be a useful tip or two for new T9 pilots in this old video

Did dis. T9 now payin for Conda upgrades. Tradin wid T9 when mi a gwaan easy - TV/chat etc. Conda when ridin de road! :D
I'd rather buy a second Anaconda to fit one for trading / exploration and one for combat... Since the Anaconda trades better than the T9, simply by being faster and being able to do very far routes I couldn't see why I'd keep a T9, except if you just LOVE bare metal trucks for the sake of it... Don't have to take my word for it either... http://www.reddit.com/r/EliteTrader...r_to_which_is_the_better_trade_ship_the_anny/ And that's even skewed against the Anaconda, as his rounding is very uneven, in favor of T9

I keep mine stored and when im running short of cash i just hop in it for a few hours and grind away the credits. I know its a cow to fly but it makes me money fast and i will never ever sell it, i just see it as a way to upkeep my f.d.l

The type 9 is the second best cred. making ship in game.
Put up with it and all its faults and before you know it you will have the best trading ship, the anaconda.
My plan exactly, i have a Python (which is great) and also a Type 9. A big brick, difficult to turn, and yes i have hit a few suns too, but it carries 472t for me just now, with a decent weapon load out, shield boosters, and shield cells, it does it's job in making credits towards that Anaconda, when i will happily never need to fly a T9 again.

So after doing quite a few trade runs & FINALLY getting that 6A FSD! The Type 9 Heavy is raking in the cash. Now that I'm used to it, it's really not that bad after all. Especially when I make well over a million credits on every single run I do. This is the life people.

There is this oddly satisfying feeling with handling this ship. Like it is an accomplishment in itself. I enjoying freeflighting it outside of station for the fun of it.
