I'm very much enjoying the Pleiades expansions

Just now, I was looking over the galaxy map near the Pleiades Nebula, using map-economies mode. I love the scarcity of inhabited systems! Each of these systems are a few jumps away in my DBS, and each are very quiet.

It makes space seem so much larger, and my actions seem to (do?) have greater consequences. :)

You going to try and migrate your faction?

If only. They're pretty weak. :(

If I could crush the Ant Hill Mob in favor of my buddies, I certainly would, but I'm the only supporter as far as I know.

I've done a few missions for Hagglebeard, and I was intending to continue but then due to a bug maybe? I couldn't get any missions from them a few times in a row. Then I sorta moved back to exploration long distances.

It's in the back of my mind though. I'm after some engineer upgrades now. When I have them, I'll give Hagglebeard one more go :)

:D Thanks mate!

Having been exploring on my main account for over a year, I think people have it backwards.

The unoccupied stellar expanse is civilized space. The core is rotten.

Im wondering, Is there a reason for new bubble expansion? Did I miss a Galnet article claiming theres more resources or overpopulation? Or is it just for the pretty stars?

+1 for the obvious but awesome observation. :)

FD wondered what players would do if they could even find Jacques. The players rallied to repair the station. Someone got the idea maybe a second bubble would be cool to see in the game. Seems FD are obliging. Seems exciting to me. Gives FD a chance to work out more mechanics and stuff around starting a human expansion from scratch or very nearly so versus starting with 1,000s of populated systems and established politics.

Besides, after the coming war between major powers and the Thargoids ramps up, many will be fleeing the total destruction and waste that the current bubble will become and looking for a new home, far-far away. :D Just look for the Powers to start laying claim to the new bubble in the near future.

I loved that in the area with the most story progression (aliens etc), almost nothing has changed since the 2.0 launch. I could not spot a difference. There are factions warring out here? Where? Where are the large battles? Where is the debris? What are they fighting over? Why is all of the action "and then a thing happened"? Why am I not taking part in the thing? It seems the story in this $160AUD game is a text blurb I get fed a line of every few months. Sure, the Canonn occasionally finds something, but the average player has absolutely no involvement in the overarching story whatsoever. It's too labyrinthine, too slow, too basic, too inconsequential.

Please, make me enthused as you are, enthused players.
