Im willing to pay for a worth of $20 Ship interior and Boarding animation DLC (Even just the same with SRV boarding animation)

There ya go - you paying cash or card?

the logic behind not including ship interiors and boarding was they thought people would find it boring or time consuming running the full length of larger ships

why should be pay for the choice of either running through corridors or boarding by beam aboard for those who want to board quickly

from what i hear it takes longer for the new taxi service to travel a > b than it probably would to run the length of a carrier

whats more boring, watching a what is basically a loading screen or having a choice on how we board our ships?

but as all pilots are basicly living the life of a pod person its more convenient to load you into your ship matrix or avatar stryle

That was the impromptu opinion of one community manager. Not the devs, not the designers, not 'they'.

The taxi flies at full throttle and more efficiently than the average cmdr I've seen. And never a loop of shame.

ok you get a free pass on that :D
the view i got from tha came from the twitch stream and may have been that beings opinion which i dont recall that being making clear it was an opinion and not the Devs in general

even so even it your able to walk\look around on the taxi, your still stuck in a load screen

I did a base assault ages ago, it was a new layout (to me, never seen it since either) and I had a look around in the SRV to figure out the puzzle & once I worked out what to scan & triggered the defences zoomed off back to my ship that was parked right on the perimeter (just under 2km away so it would stay parked). I had missiles fired after me & as expected they started hitting the (well shielded) ship as I got close & dashed underneath, providing cover for my SRV to get under the cargo hatch & re-enter.

To my surprise my SRV was destroyed by a missile after it had started being pulled up into the ship, and I respawned at the ships controls maybe a second sooner than I would have had the boarding process completed, with one less SRV in my ship's inventory.

I thought it was pretty cool.

I would pay more for it, IF it comes after Odyssey is basically completed (a lot of work to do there!) and they give us unique interiors for each ship. I don't want any of that cut-and-paste interior nonsense.

Big bonus if interiors vary depending on modules, like cargo racks vs economy cabins vs luxury cabins.

This is, however, exactly what would get.

And not, because it would be easier for Frontier to implement. (This, too.)
But because it would perfectly fit the game’s law.

Remember, we outfit modules in various sizes. There is a class 6 cargo rack, a passenger module size 4 and a SRV hangar that fits perfectly well into a class 2 slot. And these modules can be outfitted in every ship that features the necessary slots.
Apparently, all these modules are highly standardized.
And, as a consequence, they will look exactly the same, whether installed in a Cobra MkIII or in a Dropship.

What has to be different imo, would be the appearance of economy vs. luxury cabins as you mentioned.
But this wouldn’t be a “bonus” in my opinion, but mandatory.

sorry, not sorry

i made the mistake of buying the lifetime expansion pass which has so far not delivered. backers and lifetime xpass owners may have got Horizons early but imho the xPass has decreased in value since fDev decided to give base game owners ED and Horizons which can be purchased for £20 on steam or cough Epic cough mark my words, when the next paid expansion comes out Odyssey will be included in the base game for£20.

imho there are way to many people who accept this as just how it is: people need to stop accepting this and the likes of loot boxes or heres our game for £50 oh no it dosent work but we want you to pay for more expansions which wont work until weve made enough money from you cash cows

if fDev hadnt given away for free something which a lot of us have paid for then i would have no objection to paying extra just to walk and sit on my ship

How many years since Horizon came out?? Like 5 or so. Of course it should be included in the base game. Just as every World of Warcraft campaign has been included in the base game at the end of its time and the next expansion arrives.

I think I agree with that, except for adding one detail: A business cabin may look the same in a Corvette as it does in a Beluga, but the rest of the ship wouldn't fit the aesthetic as it's a combat ship. And it should look a bit awkward, like it doesn't quite belong.
