Thanks OP, didn't notice quite a few details on those two yet.
I do have to say, the stern and the whole drive assembly of the Cutter look marvelous and the extending heat bleeders on its back are really cool as well.
Also nice to see that its landing gear doesn't look completely silly like the Clipper's. Not enitrely happy with it though, as for its size it really should have more of them (somehow unrealistically placed and/or dimensioned gear has become my new pet peeve, thanks FD...

)
In the end, I think the Cutter is actually my favourite Empire ship yet and I am tempted to give it a serious name (unlike the Clipper) that does not include the word "Hipster" once we can name our ships.

Overall, it's just unfortunate that it has those puffy cheeks...
The Vette looks quite good as well.
I do love the way those two huge HPs extend behind the bridge. Those two "boxes" they are monted on do look more than just a little silly though.
The rest of the ship (especially the "chasm" down its middle and the bow tip) could do with a few more jagged edges, like on the Fed capital ships, but overall I like the design.
It does look functional and rugged, a quality I really like in the ship designs by Faulcon and CoreDyn.
Any chance you could update the OP with a shot that does include the extended gear of the Vette?
Cheers.
