Horizons (Image) Someone explain how these are preventing anything

Specifically the Outbreak and the civil unrest. I had the cargo space and each mission was some time apart. I'm just completely baffled as to how someone going on vacation could make a station or system healthier or make everyone calm down.

Oh i love these! Here i go...
1. He is a doctor and reviewed his notes as he flew with you and cured a plague!... or he needed a break and comes back refreshed and ready to fight illness.... or he is contractually obliged to have a holiday every month but did not get one so refused to treat anyone till he got his holiday...

2. He is a Civil servant and was causing cr@p in his home system but they sent him on holiday and he is much happier now..... or he is so bad at his job that the home system got more organised in just the short time he was gone..... or he actually a terrorist and as soon as he left things got more peaceful so your next mission will be an assassination mission to kill him! (linked missions!)

If 2 was a Linked mission then I should have given him a free trip to Sagittarius A*, joined him on the upper deck, locked my mag boots to the deck plating, and detonated the C4. I'd take the hit for the repair bill but... Hey... No one messes with CMDR Prospero Cade and survives... Then I'd have to write all of those letters to the loved ones of my staff for their deaths, go to court after the lawsuit came in, then grind out bounties until my bank account is in the black again, ????, Profit!

You know these passengers that complain because you're going too slow or the ride is too bumpy? Has anyone taken revenge by dragging him/her off to the back of beyond and dumped him/her there?

One of my group has the stats that he has dumped 68 passages into space......

I've taken 'Transport Prisoners-of-war' missions for an opposing Faction during a conflict, then flew them straight back to their home station and abandoned the mission to release them.
I bet that mission board guy felt a complete fool [haha]

I agree with FrogsFriend's philosophy.

And Marcus should have a word to his group.

To hell with the story. Just give me the pint. After a few any story will do.[big grin]
