Those last two videos. Oh god the pain. I would personally find some Fdev stuffed toys and beta the living fluff out of them.
I honestly think they'd be better of just doing armoured levitating or tracked vehicles. Giant walking mechanoid would require development time to get the animations right and, technically, legs are a lot more vulnerable than traditional tracked or wheeled vehicles are. Levitating ones wouldn't have any (and would be stealthy if they base them off of the principle of the real-life EM drive, which has zero propellent emissions). My guess is that this is what 'skimmers' are meant to be representing.
Walking mechanoids look impressive, but are a bad choice for combat.![]()
