Looking at the Thargoid actions, they are harvesting Escape Pods..

Now think about that! You're fellow humans purchased an Escape POD as part of their ship as an insurance policy of sorts so they can be rescued and get back to civilisation.

SO instead of facing a Rebuy screen, painful at the best of times, imgaine waking up from your escape POD and facing......Thargoids..and who know what use they have for you.

Host for their young, experiments...more...

How terrifying that would be...utterly!

So when you see the Thargoids collecting an Escape Pod, be angry , be very angry..... you could be next.

Well, we just better hope they never open the pods. An ammonia based atmosphere wouldn't be kind to humans.

Finally a reason to interact with the aliens I can identify with.

Alien slave piracy. I steal their slaves and sell them on myself. It's not diamonds but it could be fun.

Aye its abit creepy to think about. Me and my wing switched from fighting thargs to rescuing as many escape pod as possible. We've seen them scoop up reactive armour and military grade fabrics.

Yeah - seeing that past rumour has the Thargoids using hosts for embryos... the term "Grind" takes on a whole new meaning.

Better add a self destruct button also into the pod like in the ship.

If they do nasty stuff like in the move "Fire in the Sky" (1993) you better press the button twice, really not pleasant.

I have to say that "Fire in the Sky" has really stuck with me as the film with possibly the most disturbing Aliens I've ever seen in a film.
