i know coursera too

i've been following several course there.

just to give 2 exemples :

https://www.coursera.org/course/astrobio (Astrobiology and the Search for Extraterrestrial Life)
https://www.coursera.org/course/humankind (a brief history of humankind)

both of them should be available entirely now.

The guy in the video is a creationist. I advise people to be aware of this if they are considering taking the course.

Wow, seriously? How can a astrophysicist be a creationist?

He teaches about evolution and big bang theory in that course. I was curious and googled but found nothing

then take a look at the one i mentioned on astrobiology, or the other actually, they're surely not creationists as both mention evolution at times, it would have been obvious if they were. i dont know about the one of the OP.

Ok... well thanks I didn't know that. I searched google as well and didn't find anything suggesting he would be though... But I'll pay special attention to this then.

Both are not available to follow up anymore...
But yeah, anyway, if this guy is creationist, it's gonna come clear at some point.

oh too bad; i suppose one had to register sooner then, when the course was still going on anyway. at least i can still access it now whenever i want.

but check on the astrobiology one, i've received a few email about them starting a new session i think, gotta check what they actually said.

We are pleased to announce that our course, Astrobiology and the Search for Extraterrestrial Life is running again this year and has just gone live at https://www.coursera.org/course/astrobio

Lectures start on Monday 20th, but discussion forums are now open for people to meet other students.

this was on 9 January 2014, i got another mail confirming it on 19 January...
i'm surprised you cant join it. maybe you really have to join before it starts at all, i thought you could join even after it started. i suppose i'm wrong then.
