PS: don't sprain a wrist trying to find a source, you'll find none. Offline mode was cancelled because making the whole BGS and living galaxy work correctly on a single player's computer would be rather complicated.

The EU directive is simply the implementation of the global WIPO treaty.
The UK is still subject to that, Brexit or not.

From a purely career point of view, biggest disaster for me would be we leave the EU and Trump gets president... mind you it would give me more time to play ED, so there is that I guess.

Seriously though, if the UK votes to leave (Britain being the island that the UK is (mostly) on) then just like any other business that wishes to survive, FD will just relocate to somewhere else.
Also, I hate the term UK. I'm British (part Welsh, part Irish to be exact), and having to be part of some foreign occupation (the English and their UK nonsense) is distasteful.
