The only people supporting Kincaid in any I.I. would have been non-Alliance people, if at all. So it probably wouldn't have been very interesting, or would potentially become a lightning rod for the Alliance's enemies.

So I am glad it wasn't.

Theres still time for an escape and a civil war
The real people behind the murders could get him to escape and then be killed on board a mega ship.. or every one hes had help him could split from the old leaders
Then the Feds and empire can pick of a few systems as the alliance gets in a mess as two men alone did not do all this with out others knowing, its allready announced that many others were involved in banking sectors they won't be the only mega corp that put power and credits first...
Cover ups require more than 2 people... there are many others who will want to fight or run... if they all try to leave the alliance after his time in a holding cell it would be a big clue that they were helping...
