Imperial Clipper Docking Explosion

Last night I was doing the Tenche 'Seeking Luxuries' run in a T6 and turned on my AMD GVR recording software for the first time.

A few minutes later I saw this Imperial Clipper have a really bad experience with the station authorities :

I guess he forgot to request docking permission.

Looks like an AI clipper. Happens a lot to AI ships. At some point today I saw fireworks every time I docked.

Also, he didn't do any evasion, or panic, which is what a human would have done.

Too bad you didn't target the guy so we'd know.

I'm sure it was an NPC. A human would have been attempting to do *something* rather than just drift. At the time I was annoyed he was blocking the port so when I saw the lasers I it was a relief. It added vital seconds to my run! I felt mean but time is money and someone somewhere was waiting for my cargo ...

You get plenty of time to turn around and exit in a Clipper if you forget to request docking clearence. I've done it loads of times :/
