Every owner of the Clipper knows it's biggest drawback. I think this con is overdone.
I don't want be forced to use gimballed weapons as they are too prone to chaff. Not to mention higher the class of gimballed weapons worst the tracking. Class 3 gimballas track much worse than Class 1, so at distance you miss more than hit when fighting ships <Cobra.
Even the inner Class 2 hardpoints can't hit Cobra at once from 1 km mark when using fixed weapons.

In a Cobra you can at least pair your weapons on left and right. For example 2 fixed lasers on RHS and 2 fixed 'whatever' on LHS and shoot with fixed that way. Inner Class 2 hardpoints in Cobra are close enough to use Railsgun effectively - this is not possible in Clipper.
I end up mounting:
- 1 Class 3 fixed pulse
- 1 Class 3 gimballed pulse
- 1 Class 2 gimballed pulse
- 1 Class 2 Railgun
Using fixed one when gimballed crosshairs fly constantly around it is not easy though.
