Yeah I think this needs to be clarified for some people. The issue is 'ROLL' at high speed, the rest of the sounds have changed and sound ok, the 'roll' sound is screwed. I couldn't imagine anyone voting that the roll sound is an improvement.

Let's clarify then !

Music to my ears lol... Oh well, I think mine is worth about 90 million at the moment, will strip it down and get a Python. I'll just look at it in outfitting every now and again ;)

OMG my pooooooooooooooooooooooor clipper what do they have done to you !!!!!!!!!!

Bring us back OLD Clipper sound i beg you !!!!!!!!!!!

I am VERY disturbed by the results of that poll, my guess is that the majority of "I like it" have either not a clue what I was on about, or trolls that never set foot in a Clipper...

I like the additional sound as you approach 0% throttle.
I like the additional deceleration + pitching sound (seems related to 0% throttle), though I miss the subtle "aircraft pressurization" sound upon bottoming out.

I don't like the new roll sound.
I don't particularly like the alterations made to the boost sound.
But most of all, I don't like the rumbling added to accel/decel. I much preferred it when the ship had a smooth and elegant sound. It's not that I hate the muscly sound, but it's better suited to the asp/python. Adding it to this ship as well sort of removes some of its character.

Overall, I'd take the old sounds any day.

I typically play with quality headphones so I already heard the sounds that are more pronounced now in 1.1. I always liked them. I think the ship still has the best sounds and best looking cockpit. I'm happy with the more pronounced engine sounds. It still sounds like a high performance quality airship.

The sounds were always there, they are simply more pronounced now. They did the opposite with the asp making the farting engines less pronounced. I'm happy with that change as well.

Edit: Also the sound/engine mix will change depending on how you fly the aircraft. I tend to push its capabilities quite often so my mix usually has a lot of different sounds at all times.

I like what they've done with the Asp. With sound set to Full Range or Boosted it still growls and rumbles, but they've made the manoeuvring thrusters sound more prominent.

However the new Clipper sounds would annoy me pretty quickly.
