Imperial Clipper question

2 C3 Burst and 2 C2 Cannons, anything works on this OP ship anyway, large ship with heavy firepower flying at 400 m/s, jaja.

Try class 3 gimballed pulses. They're really good. The positioning of the class 3 mounts is right down the back of the ship and very far apart, making them pretty bad, but they work well with gimballed pulses.

Energy in the 3's multis or cannons in the 2's
it will handle like a beached whale until you upgrade the thrusters fyi

One neat trick if you can afford it is fixed weapons on one side and turrets on the other, for greater convergence and coverage.

Don't like turrets, too random. But, I must say the Clipper flies, looks and sounds gorgeous. Best sounding ship in the game and that includes the FDL and Vulture.

Just got mine today, and I'm really enjoying 2x C3 beams and 2x C2 multicannons (all gimballed). And yeah, she handles like a slug with a weight problem at the moment since I can't afford to upgrade the thrust just yet, but she's a pretty slug with a weight problem.

Yup I love the clipper. Used 2 C3G Pulse 2 C2G pulse and was happy with that. Got out of it as part of my progress towards an Anaconda. Now that have my Anaconda I plan on starting my collection by getting the clipper again. It's a fine ship.

I don't really want an Anaconda, eventually I will have a type-9 for trading, clipper for bounty hunting and a Vulture for bounty hunting also.

Sounds like a plan! I couldn't stand the type 9 myself, Anaconda loads up 452 tons of cargo with shields so I believe its just as much of a trading ship as a T9 but with a trade off. 48 less tons of cargo but you get higher turn rate, much faster cruise and boost speed and the jump range is incredible. oh and 8 weapon hard points and 8 utility hard points. It's an expensive ship to operate but so is the type 9. Fuel costs are the same per ton between the two. scratching either will cost you hundreds of thousands until update 1.2 hits a few more days and repair costs drop. Also. And this was the biggest one for me. You need to invest roughly 30 million credits into the type 9 just to turn it into a proper trade ship. With the anaconda, I had it ready and kitted for trading and only spent 500k over it's purchase price. And you're less likely to be pulled over by a player when you're in a anaconda than a type 9. :p

I sound like a salesmen. But I feel the need to describe why i like something. :p

Safe travels commander.

Running large pulses and med multicannons (all gimballed) at the moment. Pulses can keep on firing for a long time with the A6 power distributor.

Large pulse lasers here too. They melt shields like a flamethrower melts ice cream. Multi cannons finish the job nicely. I experimented with cannons but flooding the target with little bullets seems both more effective and more satisfying than a few big ones which I found I could only really rely upon at very close range..
Mine is worth around 45 million now, with B6 shields when I go bounty hunting which I switch out for A3 when I want the extra cargo space.
