Imperial Clipper

I just sold my Asp and my vulture to buy an imperial clipper.
I knew it is supposed to have a cool cockpit but i was not prepared for this.

This ship has to be the goal for any DK2 user!

I think i am in love!

I love it too with the DK2 but I still prefer the Asp cockpit. Better all-around view and feels more like a "working" spaceship.

yep! is is bizzarely awesome. I've been saying this for a while now . It has the best view I have seen so far. 100% unobstructed glass all the way to the left, right, and up. amazing.

sure, but the clipper isn't supposed to feel like a "working ship"... its supposed to feel high end, polished, elite.

Indeed. I'm not arguing that it's not awesome. I had one for a while and loved it in many ways, including the cockpit. I just find that the Asp view, when combined with a DK2, gives you the best space view in the game. When I bought the Clipper, I really missed being able to look down when I was landing or when flying over a star/planet.

I just got myself the Clipper as well & I love it. I love the open view. I also enjoy that about the Lakon's, but this ship is more fun to fly. I haven't tried the Asp yet, but I plan on buying one of every ship that I can in time, so I will eventually experience it when I'm ready to deck it out for exploring when I'm ready to go for the Elite rank.

While the Asp lets you look down it does have objects obstructing the rest of the view. While the rugged Lakon look has it'S charm i personally prefer the absolutely over the top luxury of the gutamaya ship.
It screams "I am a Baron of the imperium and i got the ship to show it" at everyone.
Both ships have their charm though.

I agree with Spork: We need those seats from the concept art. The current ones are too basic for the stylish clipper!
