The problem with the clipper you posted is that class 4 shields just cannot cope. The maximum supported mass is less than your laden mass... meaning that as soon as you have most your cargo bay full, you will have no shields. Even with an empty cargo bay, your shield will only provide partial coverage (1-2 rings) while being paper-thin and failing the moment you take damage. With the frequency of interdictions these days, this makes it very likely to be killed quickly by both the persistent mission hostiles as well as random pirates despite your boost speed. Vehicle hanger also does nothing for passenger transport or cargo delivery so serves no purpose other than being extra mass and power drain. You'll also want an advanced discovery scanner as destinations for missions can be several thousand ls into a system where you have no nav data.

Is about what I'd suggest for a clipper for passengers. Swap out the size 7 cabin for a cargo bay if you plan to do trading instead. 32 cargo slots is more than enough room for sudden passenger demands or taking cargo missions as you move back to population hubs. No matter what, you'll want your ship to be able to take a reasonable beating due to the frequent forced interdictions that missions throw at you now. Taking multiple missions at once is not suggested at the later ranks as hostile attackers can currently snowball well beyond your capability to deal with them at later combat ranks, particularly when most tourist spots don't have security and all current hunters after you will appear at once. For whatever reason Frontier seems singularly focused on the idea or you being pulled out of supercruise every other system, cargo or no, and constantly facing multiple attackers even when all you're doing is taking some random people on a sightseeing trip through medium/high security space. With engineering mods on fsd and modules to reduce mass, you can push the per-jump range to around 21ly fairly easily, so it isn't too hard to do those longer trips.
Alternatively, you could just wait and do a python build.
