It leaves me torn between wanting my first commander to be an explorer, or to head straight over to the Empire to earn one of these beauties. I had one in Frontier and never touched anything else after.

Me too, if i remember it being kinda Blake's 7 liberator minus a neselle and hard as a pitball chewing a wasp.

I better start saving up now for one of these ships. I have a feeling though that it could be one of the most expensive ships in the game even more expensive than the Anaconda. I'm sure it will be worth it though.

Makes sense, considering the possible wipe before you'll be able to fly the thing.

I'm more intrigued to see what the Asp Explorer cockpit looks like :)

im fine with the artwork. alot of us would rather have

instead of

imp courier allays had 1 hard point and this THING has 2 extremely big hard points, putting a weapon that would fit on a sidewinder on those 2 pilons would give it the T-Rex little arm effect

aDuz we didn't see yet the official concept art of the imperial courier, that one old art must to be updated

And considering the fact that we never been disappointed by each one of the ship done until now.. i feel sheltered

I'm pretty sure there wont be a wipe before beta 2. Frontier have said repeatedly that there will only be wipes if there is something big that needs it. I expect the next wipe to be gamma.

I'm actually looking forward to the Asp as well. It was my favourite ship in the previous 2 games and I think I'll be using it instead of the Cobra.
