Imperial Courier release and details?

So do we know when the new imperial ship is coming?
Also its approximate pricepoint and info on its hard points would be nice too.

There are no details at all besides the picture.

From that it looks like medium sized. In order to be a "courier" it should be kinda fast with good jump range.

Edit: My speculation from the picture is that it has 2 medium hard points located like the clipper ones. Maybe 1 more under the belly, but probably not.

Hoping it could be useful for exploring. An Asp is fine, but to do it in comfort is something else.

I think it's reasonable to guess that the new Imperial ship will be included with the next update 'Powerplay'. Hopefully we'll get a bit more information about this release in the next newsletter.

There is another pic of a Courier with a man standing next to it and I suspect this is the Imp version of the Asp. More speed than armour i supect but just as much range.

I'm hoping it'll have a jump range similar to the ASP unladen, exploration in something that doesn't resemble a fishbowl would be a nice change.

Edit: To clarify, I love the ASP and it's an absolutely beautiful beast with a gorgeous cockpit, but after two core trips and over 100,000 LY covered I'd like to switch it out a bit without giving up the jump range advantage.

There's nothing wrong with aesthetic beauty. Which woman would you rather be seen with? Kiera Knightly (Imperial Clipper) or Andrea Dworkin (Federation Dropship)?

Oh yeah. It was my favourite ship in Frontier.
(I either had it just before or just after my Asp. I think it was an upgrade from the Asp, but I'm not sure)

Personaly i hope will be placed between Cobra and Asp and in multipurpose ship line

What I hope is that this has almost no cargo space, but is damm fast with a great jump distance, and that real times courier missions are introduced for real money rewards.

like 30lyr jump and has to be done in 10mins.

One of my best experience in beta where those cargo runs for $200k that had to be done in 10mims. Really made the game exciting and intense.
