It's going to be smexy. Be a multi role and likely cheaper than the clipper but I hope not by much so it has some good stats.
I WANT that ship... but every minute we don't know what it's actual purpose is I fear it won't fit into my play style. :/
I would love for it to have stats and fittings like the Asp, but faster, but I would pay some good credits with fittings like that and those looks.

Since David Braben said it's gonna be a shiny multi purpose ship I doubt it will have a higher jump range than the Asp. But everything nearing a top range of about 30 LY would already make me very happy.

Yes, I ranked up to Earl and stayed away from exploration for this ship.
It better fit a fuel scoop, none of that Frontier First Encounters nonsense!
3 small and 1 medium would make it weaker than the Viper or cobra. 3 small and 1 large would make it a nasty little beast, if it's faster than both.

Seems Eagle sized to me..Maybe slightly bigger(10%)
My size estimate, from the scanner:
I unscientifically drew an ellipse around where the scanner was on one, and copied it and resized the other screenshot so it was about the same size compared with the small ellipse.
Note the Eagle, I think, is longer than the Cobra.
EDIT:
HA! This got me thinking. The Imperial Eagle Mk3 had two bars across the ends, while the Federal one had nothing on the wingtips. Maybe those bars were nacelles, and this is the Imperial Eagle Mk3, re-branded?
