In a moment of lunacy, I fitted a hanger and Buggy in the place of the cargo racks. DUH
It is years since I played with a Buggy.
Landed on a planet - rare hunt for the roller switch (q.v. pdf antique handbook).
and eventually it appeared by accident, and got the Buggy down.
It immediacy set off at full tilt over the hills and far away - the power quadrant was invisible due to acceleration effects and the X55 power bindings didnt work for buggy so I had a wild hunt for the off button(s)on the keyboard.
Eventually got it back to ship, and now found the power steps were 10% and hold the key down for more than 3 fempto seconds you got several - which made getting in under the ship - er er a work of extreme precision.
After several ED shutdowns (and one program hard crash) I had a nights sleep & then stated to read the forums - umm yes but they all assume the rollswitch is always there accessable from ship and buggy both - no it isn't not in my antique EDbeta test custom binds.
I ended up exhaustig the buggy's fuel as a result of frequent higspeed trips over the hills ..
Bangx3 - 3 fat wedged of dosh & here I am a well confused octogenarian and stuck solid, unwilling to erase the world and leave my wire frame Cobra and Imperial Eagle behind.
I can post the custom binds if needed - just ask.
Any help would be gratefully recieved.
