it is in my version of the 2.0 beta at least. I have not gotten into a match though

Tried to join deathmatch there a minute ago, but couldn't find a match for 5 minutes, so I left for current CQC.

I got a brief match with it. Very agile. Lack of reversed resistance shields might make it a bit uncompetitive in current meta though
You actually were able to join a CQC game in 1.5/2.0 beta? That's great news, that means this: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=200725 bug is fixed in the current beta, then.
I tried to get into a match today, but gave up until noone showed up after 10 minutes waiting. Will have to try again later this evening...
I think maybe hypercharge shields might behave the same way as fast charge shields for the condor. I like to use these kinds of shields for silent running, and think it is a very good combination. I'm hoping it will be the same way for the imperial fighter.
