Imperial fighters graveyard spiral - a bit much?

If you've been to one of the imperial combat zones, you may have noticed that imperial fighters perform some sort of graveyard spiral when they die. Now as such, i think it's a cool feature and adds some hollywood flair to conflict zones, but the pirouettes they're performing now are so exagarated it looks cheesy. I know FD have more important things to do, but I assume this could easily be fixed.

Well - Patraeus gave the durius dominion money and they used it to buy weapons - apparently the bought a couple of imperial fighters too (I was siding with the citizens of tradition). But actually that's a good point - since Imperial Fighters lack FSD capabilities, the only ones present should be the ones launched from the capital ship.
