I recently reached the rank of Rear Admiral in the Federal Navy and now have been working on ranking up to Duke in the Imperial Navy. All of last week I had no issue with finding the required missions to rank up, but today I have been unable to. I put in a good 7+ hours of doing missions today, most of which I have spent at 100% through the rank of Baron. The only thing that has changed from when I last played a few days ago was some minor update I had to install before I logged on. Anyone else experiencing this issue or have a possible solution?

I haven't seen a single rank up mission since the update. Either they have made another requirement that they haven't told us or they screwed up and some how have been removed.
I suspect that they've screwed something up. They were supposed to be making the m more visible by putting them in the 'follow up' missions in 3.03. I've been working on of the fast rank runs with two accounts. Before the update there was little delay in getting update mission after hitting 100%, after the update I haven't seen any.
I got three missions the other night, however two failed as the target never spawned, in spite of me cruising in my Vette for hours scanning virtually everything, including signal sources. The third was a kill 24 order, which worked out. Yeah, the rear Ad grind was a killer a while back! Lol.
Flipped the board 100+ times today for rank-up missions for the federal navy. Nothing popped up, definitely bugged. I suppose we should be submitting bug reports and waiting a long time for it to get fixed.
Same here. Had to mode switch several times for the mission to show up. I dunno why its such a taboo for naval progression missions to show up.
Exactly. I got to rear admiral rank like 3 days ago and yesterday wanted to rank up imperial navy as well. I did missions for about two hours and didn't get a single rank up mission. I might be even a king right now with the amount of rep quests I handed in.

As far as i can remember, this has been broken for quite some time now.
I can happen that the rank-up mission is available on the other station/outpost of the system... the one you never took a mission from.

Does that mean i stop, and find another way to spend my time, i am getting frustrated with this, cant get any mission(s) in my home base Leonard Nimoy. had 2 x Pythons blown up by Vipers with hulk powers. Its not looking good. The game is starting to feel like a punishment for playing.

Sad but true. Why did FDev change navy rank progression as follow-on mission? This means you have to return to the last stations to do more missions before you get a rank progression in follow-on mission section
How long are follow-on missions are available before they time out?
Still not fixed today, played for an hour and no sign of any rank up missions.
