Imperial Trade Missions?

I'm looking to increase my trade rank and Empire Navy rank at the same time. I've been hopping all over the place looking for an abundance of trade missions at Imperial based stations, but haven't had much luck... just the occasional mission here and there. I don't care about payout, just rank increase for trade/military. Any suggestions?

Go to Cubeo. Several stations in that system, with quite a few missions headed out to nearby systems.

Sadly, in one of the recent updates, they broke something (Again.. I know, what a surprise....) and no systems outside now offer missions back to Cubeo, so you'll be going back empty.

Thanks, I'll head there after my next stop.

Forgot to mention, it also has three Imperial aligned local factions, which should help with the rep grind.

In total, there are five orbital stations and three planetary stations. Should be plenty of missions to be found, as long as you don't mind doing a little station hopping. I did my entire Imperial rep grind in that area.

Just don't take missions to Staus City in HIP 5700 if you don't like long drives. That station is 261,501 ls from the star.

Good luck! :D

hi,

maybe also try: Kamadhenu.

Depends on the states of the surrounding systems but usually trading missions from 1 mil till 5m(those i find not so much) for hauling 120 to 180 cargo. I found that for 4 weeks now the cargo missions keep coming, only to different surrounding systems. Its for me the only system i have seen that has trading missions constantly. ( i'm allied and elite trade). Stacking those nets me a nice sum , quickly to do and also keeps me engaged with interdictions with NPCs. And give rep at the same time.

Any system you're maxed out with most/all the factions will do well for you. And they recently bumped haulage missions--I've landed a few 4-5M CR missions hauling 180 units to large stations, which brought my T9 out of retirement since I can often find two such missions to the same destination. Yeah, I know, I could use the Cutter, but until I find four such missions at a time, it's staying near the better A-B trade routes.

I will say, it helps to have a few such stations in several locations (different factions) to alleviate the boom/bust cycles as they come and go.

Aditi use to be very good. Earned good money and rank. Anyone know if this is still the case.

Yes I am there at the moment. Lots of Planetary Scans, all in the same star system, tons of charity donations, some mining and sourcing of commodities stuff as well. The passenger stuff is mainly economy rides to nearby places or the long collecting data missions. No cargo missions really, except for the odd follow on one you get after making a few donations.

The Planetary scans seem to bump your rep faster than the other stuff, apart from donations.

Thanks for the replies. I made it to Cubeo, lots of trade missions there... unfortunately very little pay. I'm going to have to ditch my T7 though and pick up a Python, too many missions go to smaller stations... I might pick up an ASP and a few passenger cabins, any advice for that? Sorry, been away a while.

Use the Asp for sightseeing missions and the Python for transporting people to nearby places. Having a selection of economy and business cabins in the Python should allow you to stack half a dozen transport missions at a time.

After reading this thread I have gone to Kamadhenu. It is pretty good for cargo and passenger missions, with plenty of both.
