Your Feature Request / Idea
I know a lot of people request terrain improvements, and I also recognise that half the reason we have limited terrain compared to say Planet coaster, or the inaccessible parts of the maps, is because dinosaurs need to be able to traverse it.
My idea is to implement a way in which we can introduce “boundaries” that are kind of like invisible walls (that dinosaurs would interact with like fences) and that we can ‘sculpt’ terrain around. So in this way, rather than the normal slope requirement for dinosaurs, we could create rocky crags, cliffs, hills and ravines that are natural barriers to dinosaurs and that don’t have to adhere to the normal terrain modelling requirements.
I know this is MASSIVELY more complex than that - but planet coaster already allows you to use non collision sculpting with templates for terrain - and it would act in a similar way.
I imagine that the “boundaries” would have to be complete loops like the ones already in the game, if you wanted a cliff you’d need a banana shape to mould the terrain against, or a full circle for a larger hill - a horse shoe for a centrepiece that dinosaurs could still access.
Just an idea!
