Important question!!! 15% discount community goal

So, with the community event in BD+03, one of the global rewards will be a 15% discount on outfitting.

That's fantastic!

HOWEVER!!!! Will this discount affect SALE of outfitting items purchased BEFORE THE DISCOUNT? That is a a big matter, and makes world of a difference. Can you imagine, I would sell my entire ship and rebuy everything for the discount if that was the case. If not, then not everyone will be able to take advantage of such discounts (such as myself).

Either way, I'd better get ready for my next ship purchase and help the cause!

you sell your items for the same price you bought them for so it doesn't really matter. If you bought them first then just sell them at another station and rebuy them. Sell them elsewhere otherwise you'll only get the rebuy option which is the same price you sold them as.

No. Modules are sold at the same price as their purchase price. So discounted modules will be sold at discounted price.

Because of the amount of claims I have had due to figuring out the timing of these new shield cells.....I will sell all my modules the day before the end of the community event, and rebuy them all when the reward goes live. It is ridiculous how I had a ship at only 50% health, but the moment my shields drop while my cells are activating I miraculously explode. Must have hit something critical!
