There are so many reasons why it would be amazing to have the option to toggle a full grid for terrain. We need improved faster terrain tools

This ^ stuff should be automatic, like auto-tunnel. Imagine if we could create walls of terrain like in this ^ video, except without requiring the use of a mold. It would make creating dark rides much easier. If we could raise terrain in cubes with flat sides and 90 degree angles, similar to RCT3, we could have a "snap to angle" feature that lines up with inclined paths much easier. I realize the new terrain editor is much more advanced, and giving us a grid might not be easy, but it would have so many benefits for paths.

This ^ is also a painful process, especially in more complex situations. It would also be nice if terrain could have the auto-tunnel feature completed for paths, along with a new feature for terrain to "auto-form" to paths. If paths and terrain could auto-form it would make like so much easier, and maybe even solve the problem with saving paths as a blueprint
Like say we build a path over a cliff and are making a bridge, we could enable (or disable) the "auto-form terrain" which would create or alter the terrain automatically to match the paths. With both "auto-tunnel" and "auto-form" enabled, it should theoretically allow us to create perfect paths with out the worry of having any problems or interacting elements that prevent the placement of the path. There should never be a location where it is impossible to build a path due to it colliding with terrain.
This ^ park is broken up into 4 separate areas, the street can not be removed but players can build over the street
Along with a full park grid, we could have the ability to modify park boundaries by each square, setting certain locations as restricted, and other areas as fully accessible. Currently, we can only create a park border that is rectangular, but we can not create an L or zigzag or circular shaped park, and we can only set the park to have terrain locked but what if I only want a certain part of the park as having locked terrain? We should be able to create patterns and various shapes in our scenarios and park restrictions. It would be nice if the scenario editor could also allow players to set land as purchasable

And these ^ are to show off some interest park designs. The park in the water has a great design and layout with its unique shape, and the black background can look interesting if it had a "space" theme to it, but this topic isnt about biomes or skirts, its about the terrain needing improvements [up]
