WD team really good stuff I am stoked with my purchase.

The flying is FUN, I havent done much more than the SP missions and flown between systems a bit but no shortage of entertainment. Even just belting around the planets gives the opportunity to be a precise pilot - I love docking absolutely amazing fun.

X52 was pretty much plug and play - most of the time I have to mess about for AGES to get it set up properly - not here, it feels superior to M+K in everyway which is the way it should be IMO.

Disconnections are to be expected but I really want to keep playing despite not being able to

I do agree. After some normal Beta experiences like bug reporting or disencouraging problems in gameplay I can say:

The Elite developer team really does solve the bugs and issues while implementing new features! That impresses me too. Many problems are solved. Not only the apparent ones. Important ones.

Multiplayer dogfighting is now an emersive thing that can go on for a long time untill you get shot or cant handle the stick anymore. Well! Although in Beta, I've had a lot of fun allready.

If you carry on like this, the game will be competitive with a lot of depth and I wish the team good luck with the planned advanced features, that are loved by the scifi fans, like to wander amongst the stars and discover distant secrets, or to have a drink with chummy commanders at the local space bar devising plots against others. (That's where female caracters come into play )
