I think most Elite players would rather X: stuff stayed in X: and Eve stuff stayed in Eve. Those games offer those things, does Elite really need them too?

Note I'm not saying that we shouldn't push for more (much more) content, just that building stations etc doesn't have to be it.

Totally agree. All I want is for Elite to be something now, rather than a rehash of every major space game of the past 15 years.
