Yeah it's weird they haven't added the correct roar for the Spinosaurus... don't know if it's true, but I've heard they don't have the original sound effects, so they used a replacement sound-alike. Too bad they couldn't just pull the sounds from a copy of JPOG; that game has all the right sound effects and it's incredibly easy to extract the sound files from it.
They remade the sounds for all of the dinosaurs that existed in the films for originality, while still making them sound like what they would so in the films. From developer spotlights I've read, they are not that kind who will copy and past art of any kind (audio files or physical game designs) from elsewhere in game terms and add it into the dinosaurs.
It's not their desired style.

That can be discussed... I thinks it's fine.
The movie roar is a lot more powerful.
I wonder why roars keep being cut short.
If they only allowed us modding...
They added it spino sometimes makes it when he comes out of hatchery but it's random.
Only out of hatchery isn't good enough
They really did a bad job with the Spinosaurus all around. The sounds it makes that don't directly emulate the ones from the film don't fit the animal at all (like the first roar from the species profile), the fact that it was a midget at launch and the "similar but not exactly" skin pattern from the film. And yet, it still is one of the top dinosaurs in the game.
And I personally love her!
They haven't corrected Parasaurolophus's sound ... not yet
