Improving the repair systems.

I have a few suggestions to improve the repair systems. One is for single ships in a particular situation, the other is for wing groups, and will need some extra equipment for it to work.
Scenario 1. You are in your ship, stranded in deep space. Your ship is so badly damaged that a re-boot/repair cannot work (insufficient components available). To rub salt into the wounds, you have Auto Maint. modules (1 or more), they have plenty of munitions available to them, but they are on 0% (which means that they cannot work). Really frustrating! What I suggest that, in this situation (unlikely but possible) the Re-boot/Repair sequence is allowed to scavenge past the 10% limit in order to get 1 AM unit back and working. Once this has happened the player can get their ship up to a state where they can now fly to a repair location.
Now, for the following scenario to work, 2 (possibly 3) extra components need to be added to the game. The first is one I have already suggested; AM munitions in cargo pods, that can either be dropped to allow other ships with AM units to accept them and replenish the hoppers on the AM units, or can be used to replenish the hoppers on the vessel carrying them. These would be carried in normal cargo racks. The second device is an Advanced Docking Computer, which has the ability to dock onto other vessels, while the third device (either a separate part or a modification to the AM units) is, in effect, a 'Medic' module.
Scenario 2. There is a wing, which has got one crippled vessel. All the vessels have AM units, but the crippled one either has no munitions, or its' AM unit has failed, or its' sensors have failed so that it cannot target (and then scoop) AM munitions pods. One of the other vessels targets the crippled wing-mate, docks with it, and then triggers the 'Medic' module. This then starts working on the crippled vessel to bring it back to the point where it can get to a repair location (using any AM munitions on either vessel). If there were no munitions available in the wing, the 'Medic' vessel (which should be large, for reasons that will become obvious) could trigger a Re-boot/Repair cycle, to attempt cannibalising itself to repair the crippled vessel.
