Impulse buys

It appears that I am as irresponsible with my Cr. as I am with my IRL £££

So after stumbling across a rather lucrative trade route last night, I spent a few hours zooming back and forth earning a decent amount.

Should I save this extra cash for a rainy day? "NO! BUY AN IMPERIAL COURIER" screamed my inner monologue... "LOOK AT HOW PRETTY THEY ARE!"

*sigh*

So now I have an iCourier and no idea what to use it for... I tried playing chicken with the stations solar panels which was immense fun, but alas not very productive... :p

Do spare credits burn a hole in your pocket too? ;)

The Courier is the best thing you could've bought. Decent cargo size and jump capability, great Shields and hardpoints. Scooping is a pain but besides that its a great little ship.

Haha, yeah I get the itch sometimes but I've been saving for parts on my Annie, so not so much these days. If anything ill buy cheap smaller ships just for a change up. I've been itching to try the Cobra recently...

Unlike RL, I scrimp and save in Elite!
I flew my starter sidewinder for weeks!!

The Courier is a very good mid range combat ship. Keep it light, ad a beam and a couple of multi-cannons and go RES hunting all day.

I was saving for the python and had about 25 million in the bank. Got a little drunk one night and saw a Clipper for around 17million, too tempting for my clouded thought process.

What did you do it with? Did you keep it?

Yes I wanted on, but wanted the Python 1st. Yes I kept it and it is like an anvil around my neck. 16milion for each module for someone who plays less than 5 hours per week, is a lot of grinding.

I was getting pretty rich. Then I saw me a clipper after reaching baron and spent some cash. Still have a good sized balance. In my opinion you're rich when you can afford your most expensive rebuy several times over. So, still filthy rich lol

Well I've had a play around and upgrade and I actually quite like it! :)
Although not enough for it to replace any of my main ships, so it's replacing my iEagle as my luxury Taxi to hop between systems I have ships stored. At least I don't have to panic when interdicted now ;)

The iEagle still has a place though, it will be my practice ship for planetary landings come Horizons. Lightweight, fast, fun to fly and most importantly cheap to rebuy for when I inevitably pancake into the ground! [big grin]

You don't choose the Orca. The Orca chooses you.
This I can believe.

I had the money to buy one, but chose a Python instead...

Maybe I am not as impulsive as I thought? Or maybe I am simply not worthy enough to fly one? :|

I feel I'd have to at least buy one of those captains hats to wear while flying it if I ever did! :p

I want to save my money for something im not sure what though, i have bought and sold a cutter three times just because i convince myself that i can fly such a beast, and because it looks amazing.
