It makes the game Devs look like they missed something somewhere. I have been mining for a week or two now and was surprised that when you find a rock you want to mine you know immediately how much you'll get from it. Size doesn't matter, type doesn't matter. every asteroid averages 8 ores from them, every one. if its a small asteroid that's reasonable, but if its 4 times the size then how is that right? I'd like to find a asteroid that actually has ore in it like it might in RL, not preset to a certain amount. in the future we could be setting up mines (probably automated) on asteroids that will mine them for weeks/months before they are done, at which time the rock is gone, not still floating with a notice you only get if you try to mine it again (asteroid depleted) asking for being able to set up mines might be much, but at least change the amount of ores we can get so that larger asteroids have more ore in them. 8 pieces per rock seems a bit lazy when compared to all the other nice details you put into the game. so I suggest a range from 8- 24 ores per asteroid, making it seem at least a tiny bit more realistic than now.
