In controls HOTAS no longer showiing button #'s, now icons for buttons

Already using a custom setup, it there anyway to revert back to the ED UI [OPTIONS|CONTROLS] showing button numbers?

I would rather not remap the entire set up as I only changed a few things and would prefer to keep changing incrementally.

Are the icons not simpler? I've got an X52, and before the icons I had a hard time telling what was what. Now I know simply because it shows me what button I'm pressing out of the 40+ available on the damn X52.

In the X52 proprieties you can see all the buttons (via control panel). Prior the CONTROLS config was based on the numerical buttons. I guess the last update or two it now shows icons for the buttons....which would be ok if I could map them back to the button numbers.

I'm sure some thought it was hard prior but at least you could look up the buttons via the native X52 driver properties (again via control panel) but now its looks like an entire remap in ED is my likely option. Guess in the long run that will be a learning experience, but I would still prefer the button numbers to match what the manufacturer provides via its software.

The icons were a terrible idea. Useful for those unfamiliar with their sticks I guess, but is annoying and can easily lead to confusion.

I'd at least like an option to enable/disable these icons, for those of us who find numbers easier to keep track of.
