You probably have your triggers set to be your weapon buttons, but how often are you really shooting? You're probably accelerating and decelerating waaaaaay more than you ever shoot. And shooting is a binary/digital function -- it is either ON or OFF. Acceleration is an analog function... you can accelerate slowly or quickly. Likewise your triggers are analog, they can detect if you push down hard or soft. So use it! Plus, it feels good slamming down that right trigger or making gentle thrusts as you ballerina your way around an asteroid field.
